Thomas Andolsen is a Vice President, Small Business Lending (SBL) Business Development Officer for The Bancorp. He has over 25+ years of financial industry experience through multiple roles in relationship management, business banking and commercial lending. In his current role, Thomas helps small businesses secure Small Business Administration (SBA) loans to fund business acquisitions, partner buy-outs, real estate purchases, startups, franchises, and more.  Additionally, along with AZBBA, Thomas is also a member of the ACMLA, Arizona Commercial Mortgage Lenders Association, as well as RMA, Risk Management Association. 

Prior to joining The Bancorp in early 2020, Thomas worked as an SBA Business Development Officer for Radius Bank managing all aspects of small business lending client relationships from application through closing. Previously he spent 11 years at MidFirst Bank. In his role as a Business Development Manager, he built client relationships and managed a lending and deposit portfolio. Later, he transitioned into an SBA Business Development Officer position, assisting with the merger of a bank in Colorado and facilitating all SBA transactions.  Earlier, at JPMorgan Chase, he worked as a Business Banker and Investment Specialist developing a diverse client base and offering banking products that met his clients’ individual and business needs.  Prior to Chase, he worked at MBNA America as a consumer finance account manager as well as Goldman Sach’s in NYC as a registration administrator, assisting analysts with equity and debt transactions. 

Thomas received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Production and Operations Management from The Ohio State University.
